ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and hold a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University.  I am an instructor, supervisor and the Student Services Coordinator at Sutherland-Chan which allows me to remain current in the industry and provides me with the opportunity to teach the leaders and massage therapists of tomorrow.

I have a passion for helping others heal, relax and rejuvenate through orthopedic assessments, treatment planning, prescribing remedial exercises and through strategically selecting the appropriate techniques based on  patient presentation.  It is my position to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for all patients and individuals.

My treatment style is typically deep tissue in nature but I am adaptable to my patient's needs and requests.  I have experience treating an array of patient profiles from stroke survivors, individuals living with long term dis-ease, palliative care to your weekend warriors, athletes, young professionals, desk jockeys and seniors. I am a therapist that uses a blend of  therapeutic and holistic approaches when treating.

In my spare time, you can find me cycling around the city with my husband, exploring new independent coffee shops and practicing my love of calligraphy and brush lettering.  I also play in an ultimate frisbee league once a week in the west end.
